Nico Puracchio

From skateboarder and rocker, and classical musician to hairstylist? Seriously? What was he thinking? Well, he just wasn't. And that's exactly how he got into hair. "One of my best friends started doing hair and it looked like fun." That's all Nico needed to completely change his career at age 30. "I was never cut out for office work. Put me in a cubicle and I will instantly fall asleep." As luck would find him, he hooked up with a few true artists in hair. Maurice Tannenbaum was his first mentor who began his life playing with dolls and quickly moved on to real-life adults as a very young teenager. Believe it or not, Maurice is still alive and doing hair in Gladwyne Pa! The Sahag workshop was another special stop for Nico. John Sahag was arguably the greatest hair sculptor the world has ever known. His technique is revolutionary and when applied correctly, your hair will always fall beautifully whether you are styled or just stepped out of the ocean. Speaking of the ocean, Nico still surfs, skateboards, plays music, and races motorcycles and will make absolutely sure you will leave with nothing less than a perfect cut and color.
